Get Out has to be the creepiest and weirdest film I have seen in a while, and I mean that in a good way!!!

Rating: 4 Stars

What I Like:

-How it wasn’t necessarily scary, but so creepy that it can get your skin crawling while watching it
-The weirdness also added to the creepiness, and it keeps you engaged to the story
-Director Jordan Peele really put together and wrote a good film that was very creative for a horror movie
-The comedy in this was also very hilarious
-The twists in the end was satisfying
-The deeper meanings of the story can really make you think, and possibly your mind blown

The So So:

-I wish it had a better title for this film, but it is catchy enough for people to recognize

What I Didn’t Like:

-The weirdness can drag out a little bit too long, where you asking for the film to get to the point
-The way the protagonist escaped while being strapped is a little dumb, and didn’t make sense

Overall:

This horror film will keep you engaged and be satisfied with the ending. It’s not like any horror movie you have ever seen. Jordan Peele showed how much talent he really has in doing something other than comedy, and I believe some great things will come in his future. This film will make you think, and maybe for some, blow your mind!!!
