Logan is the movie that gives Wolverine the best character development, a great story, and a proper send off for Hugh Jackman’s portrayal, though not the best comic book movie, it is one of the better ones for sure!!!

What I Like:
-Great story that gives great character development to Wolverine which was desperately needed
-Dafne Keen playing X-23 was awesome to watch
-The action was great with a lot of bloody scenes that were perfect for a Wolverine story, and it wasn’t forced action
-Film was very emotional, and proper send offs for Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
The So So:
-The film can drag sometimes, but it does continue with the story pretty smoothly
What I Didn’t Like:
-I didn’t catch the other storylines on what happened with the rest of the X-men universe, and why the mutants are losing their powers in the future (it was explained, but I completely missed it)
Overall:
It was the Wolverine movie we all wanted with a great story, cool action scenes, and powerful emotional moments. Not the perfect comic book film, but definitely good. I just want to give a big thank you to the pioneers of the comic book movie genre to Patrick Stewart for making a great Professor X since the beginning. Making your philosophy for mutants clear, and giving a lot of character depth to the rest of the X-men franchise. Also, I want to give a big thank you to Hugh Jackman for being the iconic Wolverine on film. I appreciate your commitment to the role and capturing the character of Wolverine perfectly. You played a big part in making the X-men franchise memorable, and it won’t be the same without seeing you with the adamantium claws. Thank you all for getting it all started in my favorite genre in film, and seeing y’all leave will be a sad moment for me!!!
(Sidenote: Silence- A Martin Scorsese film featuring Andrew Garfield as a Catholic priest going into Japan to save a fellow priest where practicing the Christian religion is forbidden. Though the story is interesting enough, it was too long and boring for me. All the big scenes seemed anticlimatic without substance for me whatsoever. I expected better from Scorsese!!!

(Sidenote: Imperium- This was a great story featuring Daniel Radcliffe as an undercover FBI agent in the culture of Neo Nazis to try to find and stop a terrorist attack. It was very thrilling to watch, and probably the best acting I’ve seen from Radcliffe since Harry Potter. It can be a little redundant at times, but it will open your eyes to who the real terrorists are!!!
