CHiPs wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but the comedy was still subpar with a typical cop story, however, it was still kind of entertaining!!!

Rating: 3 Stars

What I Like:

-Dax Shepard and Michael Pena had some good chemistry together
-The action involving the different types of motorcycles
-Erik Estrada’s cameo

The So So:

-For the comedy, it had it’s moments, but some jokes can be too crude and too much slapstick
-Vincent D’Onofrio played a good villain, but him always playing a villain is getting too cliched for him

What I Didn’t Like:

-Story was a way too typical buddy cop type of story which was very predictable from beginning to end
-Too much of Dax Shepard crotch and nudity

Overall:

I barely remember the TV show, but I’m willing to bet that this movie did not give the TV show justice. It was pretty much a comedy of it’s own which really lacked on the laughs for me. Story was a typical buddy cop film, which you can see what will happen from a mile away. With all that said, I was still entertained by their action with the CHP motorcycles and Ducatis. In the end, it will be forgettable, but for the moment, it wasn’t horrifically bad as you may think!!!

Don't_Breathe_(2016_film)

(Sidenote: Don’t Breathe- This was an interesting horror film where it was different in the type of story it tries to bring. I was engaged and thrilled of seeing the people try to survive from a psychotic blind man which made his character creepily intriguing. The third part of the film really got a little to sick for my liking, but I enjoyed watching this type of horror!!!

The_Edge_of_Seventeen_2016_film_poster

(Sidenote: The Edge of Seventeen- I really enjoyed the realness this movie brings seeing Hailee Steinfeld playing a dramatic teenager dealing with her problems with life. It had some great moments, but I was really annoyed by how much teenage drama it brings from the littlest things. It made me realize why I’m scared to have a daughter, but the realness can be relatable to teenagers today!!!
