The Case for Christ (Sidenote: The Hollars)

If you want to hear more of my review on this film, check out my video blog, and subscribe to Real Movie Critic on YouTube:

The Case for Christ is well put together, very informative and at the very least it will make you think!!!

4 Stars

What I Like:

-The direction by Jon Gunn
-The writing is very smart and informative for people
-Acting was believable and not corny
-There were powerful moments that make you think about the existence of God

The So So:

-The dialogue can get too academic which can lose some people (at least I managed to follow)

What I Didn’t Like:

-The conversion in the end for the protagonist, Lee Strobel played by Mike Vogel, seemed rushed and almost not believable

For a Christian movie, I really enjoyed this one. It wasn’t corny like past Christian movies. It was actually well thought out, well written and organized. For the people interested in watching this, they will not be disappointed and it is actually informative enough to make you think about the message it is trying to teach.

Rating: 4 Stars

(Sidenote: The Hollars- I was really impressed with this film. The acting was superb, and the direction from John Krasinski was pretty good. The story was predictable for me, but in the end, it was a good emotional piece about a regular family dealing with the minor evils in life!!!
