If you want to hear more of my review on this film, check out my video blog, and subscribe to Real Movie Critic on YouTube:

All Eyez on Me is a decent biopic even though the story wasn’t organized well, but I enjoyed the music of this great rapper!!!

Rating: 3.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The music and the nostalgia really got to me, and reminisce my time when the music was really popular

The So So:

-Demetrius Shipp Jr. playing the iconic rapper, Tupac Shakur, really looked the part, it was almost lifelike the way he looked, with that said, there were moments where his acting looked subpar and showed how new to the acting game he is

What I Didn’t Like:

-For a biopic, it is a run of the mill type of biopic, and I didn’t like the structure of the story it went, it started off with his interview in prison using his past as flashbacks which was cool, but then they decided to end with his decision to go to Death Row Records and his death, which made this type of film a little disorganized

Overall:

Even thought the biopic of Tupac Shakur is a typical type of biopic story with some flaws, I was still enjoying it. The music as usual took me back, and played all the classics from the rapper. That type of nostalgia will always get to me, and why I believe this is decent enough to watch for all the fans to enjoy!!!
