Logan Lucky is a smart and funny heist film that reminded me of Ocean’s Eleven, only Southern style!!!

Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-I really enjoyed the hilarity in this film, it was that good old Southern humor which I got for the most part
-The acting was pretty good seeing Channing Tatum and Adam Driver playing Southerners with their country accent, but the most impressive was Daniel Craig being a British guy playing a Southerner was hilarious to watch
-The story was also a smart heist film, the twists really made it a fun watch that reminded me of Ocean’s Eleven (which director Steven Soderbergh directed as well) only with a Southern touch

The So So:

-Yes for a heist movie it has it’s cliches of the robbers and their twists, but the writing was so good, that you forget about those certain cliches

What I Didn’t Like:

-It did take me some time to get used to the Southern accents and lingo, just be patient and it will click (trust me)

Overall:

This film has been a surprise for me. I really didn’t think it will be that good, but it was really a fun, smart, and funny heist film that would make any Southerner proud (not my type of territory, but kudos to the setting). Channing Tatum has grown a lot as an actor (can’t believe I said that), and seems to be getting roles that works out for him. Director Steven Soderbergh really directed another good film for people to enjoy and learn the lifestyle he creates for this heist film. Practically great all around!!!
