The Lego Ninjago Movie may be weaker in story and charm from its predecessors, but I was still laughing and entertained!!!
Rating: 4 Stars
What I Like:
-The comedy was pretty funny to me with a lot of laugh out loud moments
-I really enjoyed the action animation, especially the fighting scenes
-Justin Theroux voicing the villain of Lord Garmadon was a real bright spot in the comedy of this film
The So So:
-It reminded me a lot of Kung Fu Panda, which I enjoyed as well, in terms of comedy and story, but because of that it wasn’t as original as its past films
What I Didn’t Like:
-Story was weak with the same old daddy issues type of story which really brought the quality down
-It did lack a lot of charm that made the past Lego movies great, the emotions they try to give were lackluster
Overall:
Yes it may be the weakest in the franchise, but I was most certainly entertained. I was laughing and enjoying myself. I believe that it may suffer from rushing to make a lot of movies, and I believe Legos should calm down and take their time to make a good movie with a though provoking story. Regardless, it is still a good watch for the whole family to go out and enjoy!!!

(Sidenote: Wakefield- Bryan Cranston really did his best in acting as a guy who decides to disappear from life, and hide in a attic and watch his family. The premise was interesting to begin with, but it started to get old real quick. The open end ending really put a bad taste in my mouth to really enjoy it!!!
