Geostorm is the same old cliched disaster movie that we all seen before, at least we be briefly entertained by some disaster weather shots!!!

Rating: 2.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The action scenes of the disaster weather wrecking havoc across the world is somewhat entertaining, you don’t see Hong Kong, Tokyo, Rio, and Dubai getting destroyed everyday

The So So:

-The acting was good enough, but it also seems that they were trying too hard, almost like they know they’re in a bad movie so they want to shine, at least Gerard Butler seems to be doing that

What I Didn’t Like:

-Cliched disaster movie
-Terrible jokes
-Story seems like it was written in 1 hour

Overall:

This film is a Independence Day/The Day After Tomorrow wannabe. Instead of being inspired by its predecessors, they just copied most of the story. As I said before, the action scenes of cities getting destroyed was somewhat fun, but in the end, it just wasn’t good enough. Not even close!!!
