A Bad Moms Christmas really tried hard to bring out emotional moments in this comedy, but the comedy felt forced and too crude!!!
Rating: 2.5 Stars
What I Like:
-I really enjoyed the first film, and the chemistry between the beautiful Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Katherine Hahn was still there for all of us to enjoy
The So So:
-The moms of the main characters make their debut, but I felt that their character development felt was too forced, even for a comedy, it was almost cringing to watch, with that said, I felt the emotion they try to put in the end, really made these characters tolerable enough
What I Didn’t Like:
-The comedy felt forced, and really didn’t have the charm as its predecessor
-It was also too crude, I mean how is a little girl swearing funny, this gag really needs to stop, it is almost offensive to me
-The story was the same old run of the mill family issues on the holidays type of story
Overall:
The first film had some charm, and some laugh out loud moments. This one just gave me a few chuckles here and there. I do believe this was a unnecessary sequel that really fell off from what made the first movie good. The forced comedy and one dimensional characterizations just made it into a typical run of the mill holiday film that not even the good moms can enjoy!!!

(Sidenote: It Comes at Night- This film has the case of overhype with the critics. I’m not into horror films, unless, they are highly rated. So when I watched it, i was greatly disappointed. Pretty much, the film was a suspense about paranoia, but honestly, I found it way to boring. I give credit for the good acting, but the way too many dark scenes, and lack of a point really didn’t sit well with me. I mean, the title is misleading as well, and really don’t understand why this film was regarded as good!!!
