All the Money in the World is a pretty good thriller with some great character development and acting which makes a well put together drama!!!

Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The acting and character development is what really made this film good to watch, Michelle Williams was great as the mother of the kidnapped child, Mark Wahlberg was awesome as an advisor to help out with the kidnapping case, and Christopher Plummer as the cheap billionaire, J. Paul Getty, who is the grandfather of the kidnapped kid, but refuses to pay the ransom, Plummer really played him well and hatable, but given the circumstances behind the scenes with that film and how he replaced Kevin Spacey and did all his roles in record time, kudos to him and director Ridley Scott for pulling it off
-There were some really thrilling scenes, especially the raid on the kidnappers hideout, and the finale, it was director Ridley Scott at its finest

The So So:

-Nothing really in between, there was more good than bad

What I Didn’t Like:

-There were scenes that could’ve been done away with which made it drag a little bit, it would have been perfect if they done that

Overall:

It is a very good film that gives you the thrills in a kidnapping case which that alone makes it watchable. What made it a really good film is the character development and acting which gave it depth and emotion (even though my emotion is anger and annoyance, but that was the point). I give credit to director Ridley Scott for putting together a well balanced film, and how he had to change a character completely in the last minute and still made a good film, deserves my respect greatly!!!

(Sidenote: Kidnap- Now a not so good kidnapping movie starring the beautiful Halle Berry. This film was way over the top in story, action, and thrills that it was almost laughable and unbelievable. I give it credit for Halle Berry’s acting, and making the film engaging of sorts. In the end, it was very eye rolling bad with the direction it went!!!
