Gringo really isn’t what they promote it to be, but once you can get pass that, it is somewhat entertaining!!!

What I Like:
-For when it is a comedy, it had some moments to laugh about
-I did appreciate the grounded action that it gives
The So So:
-This movie has a strong cast with Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, David Oyelowo, and Sharlto Copley, but I feel like with this strong cast it was completely underused, and a waste of A list celebrities talent, at least that cast did their best with what they got
What I Didn’t Like:
-I approached this film as a comedy, but it had very little to do with comedy, and instead it was some kind of action/drama type of ordeal involving drug dealers and pharmaceuticals, bottom line, it wasn’t what they promoted
-With all the different stories it brought, it just made it that much confusing, and yes, they brought all together, but it was too late for me to care
Overall:
If you approach this as a comedy, you will be slightly disappointed, but if you approach it as an action/drama it can be somewhat entertaining. With that said, I felt like it was a film wasting great actors talent, and really trying to do hard to be a great film. In the end, it was just mediocre at best.
