Paul, Apostle of Christ is pretty biblical, but the just the dialogue barely any action type of ordeal, really made it boring!!!
Rating: 2.5 Stars
What I Like:
-The acting was pretty good, you can see the emotion in Paul and Luke
-It is a well put together movie
The So So:
-There were some dramatic moments here and there which kept me somewhat engaged, however, it was so minor it was almost forgettable
What I Didn’t Like:
-They concentrated on the final days of Paul’s life in prison before his death, and it was mainly concentrated on Luke scribing his last words that became the book of Acts, unfortunately, that type of concentration really made it boring
-I expected more action for the character of Paul and all the things he went through in his mission, they barely showed his early life as a persecuted and then his conversion, I wanted to see more, not hear him with his talks with Luke
Overall:
I approached this film with high hopes, but I was greatly disappointed. Not because it wasn’t biblical like the movie Noah, because it was for the most part. It’s because I wanted to see more action on the life of Paul, not hearing him vent on his final days. It just became way to boring for me, and I am disappointed!!!
