Action Point wasn’t that funny, even the stunts were cliched even for Johnny Knoxville’s standards!!!

Rating: 2 Stars

What I Like:

-I slightly chuckled once or twice (surprisingly)

The So So:

-The stunts were real which is given when you have Johnny Knoxville involved, however, all the stunts didn’t bring anything new, we have seen Knoxville hurting himself plenty of times, but with more dangerous stunts that make you shudder, for this it was actually cliched, you see him fall hard we laugh or chuckle, and that’s it, but you do get stunts if you’re into that, just not 100% sure which are real or not

What I Didn’t Like:

-I really wasn’t laughing, the jokes were too reliant on slapstick and crudeness, and most of the stunts we’ve seen in the trailer so it really didn’t do it for me
-They tried to make a story with stunts in it, but it really just came out into a major cliche, I’m just not sure if this is even satire for the real park with accidents in Action World, if it was, it truly didn’t do any justice, even if that park deserves it

Overall:

I was hoping that I actually see some over the top stunts with Johnny Knoxville, but in the end I was greatly disappointed. The funniest parts were the bloopers at the end, and that’s how bad it was. I can’t believe that that I’m saying the stunts were cliched for Johnny Knoxville’s standards, but it was. Didn’t bring anything new for us to enjoy or shudder. All it was, was a film that wasn’t funny and nothing to be happy about!!!

(Sidenote: Peter Rabbit- This is not the Peter Rabbit story you grew up with. It is more like a bad sequel to it. Really, the story, special effects, and humor are really targeted for kids. Yeah, it brought moments for me to laugh at, but it didn’t add any big emotion like the Paddington movies. I did enjoy the live acting by Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson. Pretty much, it is great for kids, and good for adults to catch some sleep!!!
