Skyscraper can be typical and outrageous, but it was a lot of fun to watch!!!

What I Like:

-I really did enjoy the action and thrills it brings, the whole skyscraper concept it brings was very imaginative, and the suspense really had me on the edge of my seat, bottom line, it was fun
-The acting was good, especially Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) who added a lot of charisma and fun, even though there were a few cheesy lines

The So So:

-Yes it is a typical story we seen before, it may remind you of Die Hard, but this one is cool to see with today’s movie technology, with that said, the story was still decent enough, since I came in with not so high expectations, I can really enjoy it for what it is

What I Didn’t Like:

-Some of the stunts were way to outrageous that it can be corny, the stupid gag of duct tape really had me shaking my head
-It’s not The Rock movie without some cheesy lines that will make you roll your eyes

Overall:

It is a fun action movie. Don’t come in expecting an Oscar worthy movie, let alone Die Hard. Just come and grab  some popcorn and a drink and just enjoy the suspense, action, and fun it brings that features a good performance by The Rock. That’s what you can expect for summer blockbusters, and honestly, that’s ok with me!!!

(Sidenote: The Hurricane Heist- This movie is as dumb as it sounds. The story was very subpar, the acting was horrendous, and the action looked very bad. It had an identity crises of if it is a hurricane or a tornado, and that’s really what made this movie dumb!!!
