The Spy Who Dumped Me is the same old typical spy flick only more annoying and where the action scenes were not enough to make this watchable!!!
Rating: 2.5 Stars
What I Like:
-The chemistry between the beautiful Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon was actually pretty good, I thought they worked well together
The So So:
-There were some cool action, but it was very minimal, it relied more on comedy which was a big mistake, the action would’ve helped hold its own
What I Didn’t Like:
-The story was the same old typical spy type of film, the twists were predictable, and it seem to follow the recipe of how to make a spy action film with comedy, only Austin Powers did a lot better
-To me Kate McKinnon is annoying with her comedy which really didn’t make me laugh, and she keeps having duds after duds in her films
Overall:
It is a typical spy action comedy film where it doesn’t bring anything new but adding two female leads. The chemistry gave it potential, but the comedy was not there for me. It was one of those movies where I wish there was more action, but unfortunately, it was just horrendous comedy. I guess this spy film wasn’t meant to be what it wanted to be!!!

(Sidenote: The Leisure Seeker- This film stars two fine actors in Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland playing a married couple going on a road trip dealing with their health disabilities. I enjoyed the acting and showing the bad side of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease, but to me the film was a little boring, and the climax which was underwhelming. It can be emotional for some people, but for me, it wasn’t good enough for me!!!
