Mile 22 is very sporadic and without substance, but if you enjoy pure raw action, you will enjoy this!!!
Rating 3 Stars
What I Like:
-If you like pure raw action that has the shaky cam like a Jason Bourne movie, some crazy shoot outs, and bone cracking fight scenes, you will most definitely like it
-I did enjoy the acting of Mark Wahlberg (The Great Marky Mark) as an easily agitated special agent force, and Iko Uwais as the person of interest and who the special forces are protecting
The So So:
-There is a huge twist and for me it is a well executed twist, but it left me with more questions than answers, and I hate having to answer questions after when the movie is done
-John Malkovich as the special forces leader, they decided to put hair on him, it didn’t look bad, but why bother adding a wig to Malkovich if he is known to be bald
What I Didn’t Like:
-The story was sporadic and very confusing, there were times where I didn’t know what was going on, let alone what is the point, but once it got to the main point, I could understand it better
Overall:
Is it a perfect movie? Far from it, and mainly because of the sporadic and confusing story with barely any character development. With that said, it does pack a lot of wild, violent, and cool action that can sooth your action packed mind. In that case you can sit back and relax and enjoy the crazy action it brings. Just don’t get too distracted with John Malkovich’s hair plugs!!!

(Sidenote: Traffik- This film starring the beautiful Paula Patton and Omar Epps really had a rough start with the dumb dialogue and unnecessary subplots. Once it got going it is a interesting movie dealing with the reality of human trafficking. Yes, it can be predictable, but I do enjoy the realism it brings that makes it watchable!!!
