Smallfoot is good enough for kids, what’s even better for adults is a story about ideologies and what to do when they are different!!!

Rating: 4 Stars

What I Like:

-It is a fun movie seeing the yetis and humans trying to figure out what to do since they can’t communicate with each other
-The animation is amazing dealing with mountains and snow
-My favorite part where it got me thinking as an adult if their story of differing ideologies and how to question or deal with them, I liked the fact that it shows that we can come together to make one very special bond

The So So:

-The comedy is hit or miss mainly with kids movie slapstick
-The music was decent, not memorable, but I did enjoy’s Common’s song, “Let it Lie.”

What I Didn’t Like:

-I do believe when it comes to the ideologies that it was a knock on Christianity and the Bible, and of course that is the ideology they throw out in the end, does leave a bad taste  on me even though the story is pretty good

Overall:

I believe it is a a great movie for the kids that it provides a lot of of entertainment for them. What’s even better for the adults that bring their kids there is a story dealing with differing ideologies that can make you think. It has for me (even though it is not the outcome I liked). Regardless, it is a fun movie to bring the whole family and enjoy!!!
