The Grinch is the same old story we know, but nice animation though!!!

Rating: 3.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The animation is spectacular, and really gives it a fresh look to this famous Dr. Suess story
-I thought Benedict Cumberbatch did a great job voicing The Grinch, he gave the character charisma, humor, and some charm

The So So:

-I got nothing for the in between, other than how The Grinch can afford all these gizmos, but it was fun to watch it work

What I Didn’t Like:

-It is the same old story, but with good animation, between the old classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and the Jim Carrey version, the story really is the same, and for this latest version it didn’t add anything new to the table

Overall

The story still remains the same old story that for some of us we grown to love. Maybe for today’s kids they will love this fresh new story. With all that said, it is still watchable for the whole family and seeing the glorious animation it brings to us. For now, I still enjoy the Jim Carrey version!!!
