Ralph Breaks the Internet is a fun movie with a smart and emotional story for all of us to enjoy the values it brings!!!

Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-It is a fun movie to watch, believe it or not, better than its predecessor, the whole adventure involving the Internet world is enjoyable with its great animation, and all the cameos that it brings from Marvel, to Star Wars, to Pixar, and the Disney Princesses, and using it to the cameo characters potential
-The story is written very smart and thought provoking, not only it gets creative in making the Internet a crazy world, but the character development between Ralph and Venellope got into deeper more emotional relationship about true friendship
-The car race scene in Slaughter Race was fun with awesome animation, and the Disney Princess scenes was hilarious

The So So:

-Creating a real Internet world has been done before, a la a skit from Chappelle show and The Emoji Movie, but unlike The Emoji Movie, the story had a lot more substance in the universe it brings and how it didn’t feel force but naturally, it is great writing at its finest

What I Didn’t Like:

-A little nit picky, but a lot of their problems were solved way to easily and at times comically, at least their bigger problems where more thoughtful
-Don’t understand why an Arcade is still standing in today’s world, I don’t know

Overall:

This is the first animated movie this year that I really enjoyed. I didn’t think it would be as good as the first film, but not only it was, they really took the time to make one incredible, fun, and smart story that still packs an emotional punch. Add the great animation to it, and it is one heck of a movie that the whole family can come and watch. Disney has mastered all of their assets in this film, and I enjoyed every minute of it!!!

(Sidenote: The First Purge- This is your typical Purge movies. Insane amount of violence which we already know that will happen. Political corruption which we already know (In this movie and today’s real politics). Stories that we already seen and heard before. Only difference is, it briefly shows how this whole “holiday” got started. Regardless, people watch for the crazy Purge violence, and you get that at least!!!
