The Best of Enemies may be very predictable, but it is still a feel good film about tolerance and working together!!!

What I Like:
-The acting is very, very strong, you get what you expected with Taraji P. Henson’s acting, but I was really impressed with Sam Rockwell’s acting as a leader of the Ku Klux Clan, his changing of attitude and what not when being forced to work with a black activist is a marvel to see
The So So:
-It may seem that the film focuses more to one side of a certain kind of people, but in my opinion, it is the most important part of the story, because it is not easy to see the changing of guard of a white supremist, though you do have a quick revelation for the black activist, but I was more intrigued with the other character, and Rockwell’s acting made it worth it
What I Didn’t Like:
-It is very predictable, it is so obvious what was going to happen that I didn’t even need to do the research of this historical event, in the middle of the film I pretty much knew what was going to happen, and really that is this film’s biggest fault
Overall:
Yes it is very predictable, but I still believe it is a good watch. It does teach you about tolerence, having an open mind, and learning to work together for the greater good. The strong acting by both Henson and Rockwell really makes this film worth to watch. If you want a feel good drama, this is it!!!

(Sidenote: Instant Family- This is one of those films where some scenes are really bad, and there are some scenes that really worked. I thought the chemistry between Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne as a married couple having foster kids was really good. With the scenes that do work, it does pack some very good emotion. So I say for the most part in this dramedy, the drama works better than the comedy!!!
