Tolkien really ignores the best of the life of fantasy author J.R.R. Tolkien, and showed the boring stuff of his life!!!

What I Like:

-Nicholas Hoult did his best playing author J.R.R. Tolkien, with that script that should might as well be a sleeping pill

The So So:

-The war scenes were interesting to watch, but I wish they had more of it, I mean a lot more

What I Didn’t Like:

-Did it have to be so boring? We talking about a man that created a great fantasy series of books that turned into great movies. So why they concentrated more on his life with his friends, priest guardian, and his love life? They should’ve focused more on his scenes fighting in World War I where his great stories were really inspired. I actually fell asleep that the slog of a beginning

Overall:

Bottomline the movie is boring. I am so disappointed in this film that it wasn’t even funny. I don’t know what else to say, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. Even for the biggest fans of Lord of the Rings!!!
