The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a minor upgrade with better story telling, but as usual the third act can be too outrageous for my liking!!!
Real Rating: 4 Stars
What I Like:
-Patton Oswalt voicing the character Max is a major upgrade to Louis C. K. in the last movie, Oswalt adds more charisma and emotion to the character
-Harrison Ford voicing the dog Rooster was awesome, and you get what you expect with the great Harrison Ford, that sarcastic humor that we all love
-The animation as usual is spectacular, showing the city of New York City at its finest
-The comedy for the most part is very witty, and creative
The So So:
-The story for this film is better than its predecessor, but not by much, I liked how they bring three different scenarios into one, but still the stories add nothing new to the table, still entertaining though, especially the story of Max meeting the human child Liam and overcoming his fears to be the best for him
What I Didn’t Like:
-Like the first film, the third act is definitely way to outrageous for my liking, I mean with all these pets out, how do their owners not have a panic attack when they are missing, the whole thing about the tiger is definitely the dumbest part, especially at the end of what they do to him
Overall:
As I said before, I actually enjoyed this movie more than the first one. Patton Oswalt is a voice upgrade, and the rest of the voice cast was great as well. The story is slightly better, but still a little juvenile and outrageous for my liking at the end. With all that said, it is still a fun film to take the whole family to enjoy!!!

(Sidenote: Arctic- Mads Mikkelsen in a survivor story of a man stranded in the Arctic region. What I really enjoyed in this film is his commitment in trying to save the other survivor at any costs. It shows his true nature. Be ready for very minimal dialogue which really brings out the realness in this film!!!
