Toy Story 4 may not be as emotional than its predecessor, but the story is strong for everyone to enjoy!!!

Real Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-Everything you love about the Toy Story franchise, you get it here, from the characters you love, to the new characters that brings a breathe of fresh air (especially Forky), with a great story, great comedy, and appropriate for all ages
-The animation is the best that I have ever seen for Pixar, that beginning scene with the rainstorm was awesome visually

The So So:

-It does have some emotional moments that may bring a tear to your eye, but I thought Toy Story 3 had more powerful emotional moments, as far as the ending goes, which I won’t spoil for you, but I will say its sad, but it doesn’t give the gut punch it needed

What I Didn’t Like:

-I knew pretty much from the beginning what will happen in the end, at least the execution made it somewhat worth it

Overall:

I was always felt that Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending for this franchise and was greatly disappointed that a fourth film was announced, because I thought it was not needed. With all that said, I’m happy that I was wrong, because this is another great Toy Story film. Everything you love about this franchise, it gives you that. Even my takeaways wasn’t that serious, because of the great execution and animation. Definitely Pixar at its finest, and bring the whole family to enjoy!!!
