Spider-Man: Far From Home is another fun Marvel film with just enough depth to the character to really look forward to the future!!!
Real Rating: 4.5 Stars
What I Like:
-Marvel has done it again, after all the greatness and sadness of Avengers: Endgame, this film was a lot of fun with its action, the Marvel comedy, and reignite the excitement fo the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)
-The character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man has developed greatly, one of the complaints (really a chosen few) is that this Spider-Man is too reliant on the Avengers or mainly Tony Stark, which loses the essence of a true Spider-Man character, that may be true, but I always thought this story involving a teenage hero makes sense, in this film, I strongly believe he is now starting to come to his own, (naysayers may say he still relies on Stark tech, but who cares), his characterization to me is that his responsibility is to be a true hero and maybe a leader
The So So:
-Without spoiling it, I will talk in sort of code, the character of Mysterio had a great character development, even though I predicted his outcome which is very obvious to comic book enthusiasts, the way it is almost straight from the comics, but with a blend of the MCU turned out perfectly, and Jake Gyllenhaal was great in his portrayal
What I Didn’t Like:
-There are some things, but they are SPOILERS, so to find out check out the podcast Real Movie News and Reviews and wait until the Spider-Man: Far From Home episode comes out to hear it
Overall:
I thought after Avnegers: Endgame, it couldn’t get any better. However, I’m glad I was wrong. This Spider-Man film was so much fun, and the character development for Spider-Man now is getting to a point where the future is looking great. It seems like the MCU can’t do any wrong at this point, and after the mid credits and end credits scene, I’m looking forward to the future of MCU films now!!!
