Real Rating: 4 Stars
What I Like:
-The true story was interesting, and made you think how corrupt big corporations really are, and how they can manipulate people
-The acting was fine, I enjoyed seeing Mark Ruffalo playing the lawyer going against the DuPont corporations, I also enjoyed seeing Anne Hathaway playing his wife, and Tim Robbins playing his boss
The So So:
-As usual with law films, there was a lot of law jargon and what not, but for me, when I pay attention, it is very interesting
What I Didn’t Like:
-For a law film, it really wasn’t thrilling for me, I expected more edge of my seat type of thrills, but nothing really
Overall:
It is a good enough law film for people to come, learn, and be disgusted. That is the main point of the law film, and add to the fact that it is a true story, it really makes you think. Mark Ruffalo was great playing the lawyer. I just wish this was more thrilling, but I did enjoy what it is trying to say!!!
