Jumanji: The Next Level isn’t as fresh as the original, but the characters and action still makes it a lot of un to watch!!!

Real Rating: 4 Stars

What I Like:

-What really makes this film entertaining was the acting, seeing these characters playing different roles, seeing Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson act like Danny DeVito, Kevin Hart act like Danny Glover, and Jack Black act like Ser’Darius Blain, really makes funny and entertaining, the surprise characters just add icing to the cake
-The action was fun as well, seeing the team getting chased by mandrills through rope bridges was thrilling to watch

The So So:

-It does follow a familiar trope from their last film which makes it predictable, but at least the different adventures doesn’t make it too familiar and focused on the entertainment

What I Didn’t Like:

-The subplots do feel rushed, and maybe would’ve been better without it

Overall:

Yes the story wasn’t as original, but it was still a lot of fun to watch. The acting of the avatars made it funny and the action made it entertaining. New characters always makes it a breathe of fresh air as well. I would say it is worth a watch for all the entertainment seekers!!!
