Spies in Disguise may be cliched, but it is still a fun romp for the whole family to watch!!!

What I Like:

-It is hilarious, the voice work of Will Smith and Tom Holland worked perfectly for the comedy it brings with their dialogue, there are some adult jokes as well
-The animation was awesome, I wish I saw this in 3D
-The voice cast other than Smith and Holland was pretty good, even DJ Khaled had good voice work instead of yelling on tracks like he usually does

The So So:

-The story did deal with many different themes which can make it somewhat inconsistent, the one theme I kind of enjoy is that you don’t always have to kill to save the world, there are other ways to stop criminals, pretty much the superhero way which I always enjoy

What I Didn’t Like:

-With these themes, it does come with its cliches, most notably the character development of a spy always wanting to work alone, and reluctantly teams up with another person, and become the best of friends, that has been overused who know how many times, same with the villains motive, revenge is a dish served cliched

Overall:

Once you are willing to look pass the cliches, it is an enjoyable film with good comedy and great animation. I enjoyed the voice work of Will Smith and Tom Holland together, their voices bring great chemistry. It is good enough for the whole family enjoy, the kids will laugh, and the adults will enjoy some of the adult jokes they put in. I did, and we all laughed together!!!
