Birds of Prey is a fun action movie with some great acting, even though the story can be too outrageous and weird at times!!!

Real Rating: 4 Leg Breaks

What I Like:

-The acting was great in this most notably Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn who really encapsulates her role as one of the famous Batman villains, and brings it as her own character, I also really enjoyed Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, he was very intimidating at times as a shot caller type of villain, but there were times where he was really weird, but with the tone of the movie, it works
-The tone and action was really fun and incredible, I give credit to director Cathy Yan for making it very dark and colorful, the fight scene at the clubhouse was such a spectacular scene that was fun and awesome that I have to see it again
The So So:

-There was a lot of weird and quirky moments, like Mr. Zsasz weird moments with Black Mask, and the comedy was hit or miss sometime, but it works with the tone of what the film is really all about
-The other characters like Black Canary, Renee Montoya, and Huntress really worked well even though their roles were small at times

What I Didn’t Like:

-The story with Harley Quinn as the narrator was a little choppy which kind of ruined the flow at times
-Also the tone can be too outrageous for my liking, which I understand that is what they are going for, but it doesn’t necessarily make it great

Overall:

Fans of Harley Quinn will not be disappointed. Margot Robbie as the villain in her own story really worked well, and made it her own without any dependance with anybody. There was other great acting like Ewan McGregor as Black Mask and among others. Plus the fun and colorful direction Cathy Yan, it can really be seen as a true and deranged work of art!!!

(Sidenote: Downton Abbey- I will make this real quick. I don’t understand the fuss of of this TV show and now movie. I just found it boring and uninteresting. Maybe for fans you get what you want, but for me it was a great sleeping pill!!!
