Impractical Jokers: The Movie (Sidenote: Waves)

Impractical Jokers: The Movie had its moments, but I wish they concentrate more on their schtick than actually making a story to this film!!!

Real Rating: 3.5 Murr’s Hotel Parties

What I Like:

-If you’re a fan of the Impractical Jokers, you will enjoy the stuff they do here in this movie, I mean, what more can you expect on a movie about guys doing jokes and stunts

The So So:

-With all that you enjoyed from these jokers, when it ended, I wanted more, more jokes, more stunts, and maybe even more cameos, it did leave me wanting more jokes for me to laugh and enjoy

What I Didn’t Like:

-The fact that they try to make a story out of it really just didn’t work for me, adding Paula Abdul in all this and a road trip all just seemed forced, I just wish they just continue on with their schtick and maybe add a huge punishment after that, nothing more nothing less

Overall:

As I said before, if you all like the TV show, this will be entertaining for you. You get everything you love from The Tenderloins and their shenanigans. I just wished they kept it in the same format as the TV show instead of making some kind of movie story out of it which really did not do it for me. Instead, it left me wanting more jokes and maybe more punishments. That is what the Impractical Jokers is all about. That is what we come to love and enjoy!!!

Waves 2019 film poster.jpg

(Sidenote: Waves – This is a very interesting film about a modern family living in South Florida. First thing is that I love the direction of Trey Edwards Schults. It was like a mixture of Terrence Malick and Barry Jenkins. As for the story, I was definitely intrigued with the family, however, once the big climax happened, the rest of it dragged a little for me. With all that said, it is still a decent watch that can be gut wrenching!!!
