Promising Young Woman will keep you on your toes in wondering what will happen next, not only it may be satisfying, but the message is loud and clear!!!

What I Like:
-It is a story that many people can relate to today, especially for young women, the way it executes itself makes really black and white on what is right and wrong in this theme that needs to be preached about now
-Carey Mulligan was superb in role as Cassie in exposing the scumbags that try to take advantage of her, she was intense, manipulating, and yet, with a strong heart in all her methods in her grand master plan
The So So:
-Without spoiling it, the climax can leave people disturbed on how dark it gets, but for others it can leave people applauding on how genius it is, it is not for the faint of heart, that is for sure, as for me, it was borderline dark and genius with the execution at the end
-Yes men can be scumbags, I will be the first one to tell you, but do you have to make most them become crying babies after being exposed, I don’t know, but I’m all for making them look vulnerable, that’s for sure
What I Didn’t Like:
-The soundtrack was not great for me with their song choices, it does throw me off in enjoying the movie, from Spice Girls, to Britney Springs, to Paris freaking Hilton, maybe I may be missing something, but for me, it was distracting
Overall:
It is a film on a subject that definitely needs to be talked about and taught for everybody. The execution of the film with the great acting by Carey Mulligan makes this enjoyable. With that said, it can be really dark, not graphic, but dark enough to make a sensitive person really offended and sad. I can honestly say, everyone needs to see this, and really try to apply it to their lives today. Maybe the world can be a better place by it!!!

(Sidenote: Infidel – Talk about a film that changes its themes. It starts off as a political thriller where a Christian journalists goes to Egypt for his job, and gets kidnapped. Then it just becomes an action thriller all of sudden. I will admit, it is thrilling at times with Jim Caviezel once again playing a person that is tortured. However, after finding out who produced it (name does not deserve to be mentioned), I can’t shake off the fact that there is more to this film which I won’t like!!!
