Shadow in the Cloud started of intriguing, but once the climax hit, it became a huge mess!!!

Real Rating: 2.5 Gremlins

What I Like:

-I would say the first half of the movie was very intriguing, as we learn about the character Maude Garrett played great by Chloe Grace Moretz, and the things she has to face with other air force officers on the plane, I liked how they made her mysterious, especially when it comes to the package

The So So:

-Once it starts with the action sequences you can tell that a lot of it is green screen with cheap CGI, though when the gremlin shows up they probably put the whole budget on the CGI of the gremlin, it did look kind of creepy at least

What I Didn’t Like:

-I’m not sure what the tone or theme of this story really is, it started off as a woman trying to get respect from the men in the plane as an officer, then once the gremlin shows up it became a horror thriller, then when the Japanese fighter jets come, it became a war thriller, I mean pick something and go with it
-Once the revelation of the package comes to fruition, it went all downhill from there, it just became a mess with outrageous action which makes you want to say, ‘What The Heck?,” and not in a good way, once the ending happened I was done with it

Overall:

I give credit to Chloe Grace Moretz for her acting, and the unique character development for the story and what not. However, once the craziness starts to happen, it just became a huge action mess that will make B-movie directors jealous.It has good parts, but in the end, it was a huge mess that I didn’t want to clean up!!!
