Those Who Wish Me Dead had good characters to care for, but the story didn’t flow well which created some unevenness in tone!!!

What I Like:

-The character development was pretty good, it actually made me give a care to what they been through and what is happening at the moment, even the villains had a strong motive in all of this mess as well
-During the times there was some action, it was pretty intense and thrilling

The So So:

-Looking through the eyes of the villains, I thought for the most part they were pretty intense assassins trying to finish the job, I thought Aidan Gillen was pretty good and Nicholas Hoult had his moments to make it scary, but there were some moments where what they did were head scratchers to me as well, without spoiling it, but if they thought things through a little better at the beginning, maybe they wouldn’t be in a wrose predicament

What I Didn’t Like:

-Even though the story had great character development, the transitions to the different characters really didn’t flow well, it made it uneven in tone, and that was pretty much the first two thirds of the film, I felt it could’ve been edited a lot better, and maybe some moments wouldn’t have dragged at times either

Overall:

I really liked how they developed the characters well giving them some good backstories that worked well with the movie’s presence. The acting was good, the villains were scary good, and the action was thrilling. It did have some tonal problems with their transitions which didn’t make it flow well, and even made it drag a little. With all that said, it does come together well, and made it for an interesting story to watch!!!
