Beckett had potential, but the execution of everything made it flatter than it should’ve been!!!

What I Like:

-I believe John David Washington did his best in this series, didn’t have much dialogue, all he really did was run away, a lot, for his life, but his facial expressions really did the acting in this case

The So So:

-The premise had potential of being a good action film, but as the story unravels, there were a lot of things that didn’t make sense, the execution on the action was here and there as well, some parts were cool, some parts actually look kind of dumb

What I Didn’t Like:

-It took some liberties to make this unique, but one thing I didn’t like is that there was barely and music which took away a lot of the thrills in scenes that is supposed to be intense, in the end, it made it more boring

Overall:

This movie had a lot of potential, but the execution of most things really didn’t pan out. It made a thriller fall really flat. Not even John David Washington’s facial expressions and running away couldn’t quite save this from mediocrity. It is on Netflix, and if you have time to spend, I guess watch it. However, don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!
