The King’s Man is more grounded on the action which I appreciate, but the story is just as outrageous!!!
Real Rating:
4 Leg Healings
What I Like:
-The first two Kingsman is known for its outrageous action which people seem to love, but for this film, it was a little more grounded in the action which I appreciate, there is some hand to hand combat scenes which were great and entertaining, I don’t need outrageous CGI action that makes it look dumb
-They didn’t cut down on quirky characters and Rhys Ifans as Grigori Rasputin was very entertaining to watch
-Ralph Fiennes as the leader of everything was some great character development, and I enjoyed Djimon Hounsou’s character as well
The So So:
-You do need to know a little bit of world history, especially on the British side, to understand what is going on during that time period which is World War I, my British history is pretty bad, so it took me time to understand that main politics of the story, but it is always good to learn your history kids
What I Didn’t Like:
-Even though I like the grounded action, the story is still outrageous, it is a prequel on how the Kingsman started, but getting there was crazy and all over the place, it can be hard to follow
Overall:
As I said before, I enjoyed the more groundedness in the action than the other films. The acting was great, and the quirky characters were entertaining. The story definitely need some work to make it cohesive enough. Regardless of all that, I enjoyed this prequel a lot more than the other films. To me it was a lot more enjoyable and fun. People may disagree, but I said what I said!!!
