Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank may not take itself seriously, but the humor is juvenile and even problematic!!!

What I Like:

-There were some jokes that made me laugh, even a movie that stupid can have some funny stuff, but at the very least it knows not to take itself too seriously

The So So:

-I understood the story is about racism and tolerance, but the juvenile humor really takes away from their main point
-Also, it did remind me a lot of Blazing Saddles which is a great classic to pay homage to, but not the parts that made me laugh in that film

What I Didn’t Like:

-This film is problematic, let’s just start with a film about samurais, the main cast are not Asian, only two minor characters, also the fat shaming was too much as well, shame on Nickelodeon for not realizing that

Overall:

It may give me a few laughs, but overall, it was really stupid. The juvenile humor really made it bad. Also, a film with the theme of racism and tolerance, and have their man cast voices not Asian really makes it hypocritical in my book. I thought Nickelodeon would know better, but I guess they only excel in the stupidity of everything!!!
