The Munsters was better than I thought with the creativity and production design, but the campiness and lack of plot didn’t make it great!!!

What I Like:

-I have to give credit to director Rob Zombie, his passion for this franchise and unique mind really made this a fun spectacle to watch, you can tell he was having a lot of fun making this film

The So So:

-The humor was campy, however, it worked for this type of movie, and really captures the spirit of The Munsters franchise, and even though some jokes were misses, there were a lot of enjoyable hits as well

What I Didn’t Like:

-There was a lack of focus in the story, it seemed there was a lot of episodes in one showing, it may be an origin story of sorts, but the lack of focus made it too all over the place

Overall:

For a Netflix film about a famous TV series directed by a weird person who loves strange horror in Rob Zombie, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The creativity in the production design was remarkable. The story and the too campy humor brought down to an ok film. Still, I wasn’t bored watching this in the comforts of my own home!!!
