Ticket to Paradise

Not even the charm of George Clooney and Julia Roberts can save this predictable rom-com!!!

Real Rating:

2.5 Wedding Customs

What I Like:

-You get what you expect with George Clooney and Julia Roberts reuniting once again for this rom-com, their charm really makes it genuine, and they both have good moments that were very thought provoking
-The cinematography of what it is perceived to be Bali (it was filmed in Australia) was beautiful, the landscapes and beaches looked like a place I want to go to

The So So:

-With all the charm that Clooney and Roberts give, their comedy on hating each other were hit and miss, eventually it got to a point where I was like, ok, I get it, they hate each other, it got old real quick

What I Didn’t Like:

-It was such a cliched typical rom-com, you knew what was going to happen, and it did, and it makes your eyes roll, and hate life as we know it
-The scene with the dolphins CGI looked faker than the Jaws animatronic in Universal Studies

Overall:

As much as I enjoy the reunification of George Clooney and Julia Roberts, it was still an eye rolling rom-com. You knew what was going to happen just by watching the trailer. I guess if you all into these things, it is enjoyable for you all. As for me, at least I can enjoy the cinematography of “Bali,” but then it makes me jealous and angry that I’m not there. What can I say, I didn’t enjoy it!!!
