Violent Night (Sidenote: Easter Sunday)

Violent Night, the title says it all, it can be silly, but you get what you pay for!!!

Real Rating:

4 Sledgehammers

What I Like:

-You want to see a violent Christmas movie, that is what you get, it is definitely violent and adulterated, in other words, you get what you pay for
-You want to see David Harbour as Santa killing naughty people, you get exactly that, and it was fun watching him do that

The So So:

-Do you want that Christmas spirit in a a Christmas movie, you sort of get that, but definitely in a weird way, makes you wonder what’s in the minds of the writers of this film

What I Didn’t Like:

-It is silly and over the top which after a while you start getting tired of it

Overall:

As I said before, you get what you pay for. A Christmas movie involving Santa as fearless warrior with Christmas magic. I don’t know why the writers, actors, and pretty much anyone possessed enough to make this film, but it happened. So if violence is your thing, then you will have a ball with this bloody Christmas film!!!

Real Rating:

4 Sledgehammers

(Sidenote: Easter Sunday – Comedian Jo Koy makes a film about his family. Even though the Filipino representation is great and Jo Koy has a charm with his comedic acting, it did feel like one big comedy special. Regardless, it is still pretty funny. Just don’t expect any cinematic achievements!!!
Real Rating: 3.5 Filipino Families)
