Five Nights at Freddy’s is all too familiar, but this one had a somewhat thought provoking story!!!

What I Like:

-It is creepy enough to get my attention

The So So:

-The story does have some depth and good character development, with that said, it is very predictable and needed to rely on its creepiness to make it good enough

What I Didn’t Like:

-The tone and theme reminded me of another film called Willy’s Wonderland, only Willy’s Wonderland was more entertaining, while this film has a better storyline, I bet if the latter wasn’t created, this would be a lot more entertaining
-I feel like this fim needed to be more bloody to make it work better

Overall:

I have not played the video game so I can’t make any comparisons. As a movie alone, it is creepy and with some story depth. However, with Willy’s Wonderland already premiering and its predictability it could’ve been better. If I have to compare, which I am, I was more entertained seeing Nicolas Cage beating these animatronics than Josh Hutcherson running away from them. Regardless, I believe this might fulfill fans of the game!!!
