The Killer may have some moments, but it can lag at times!!!

What I Like:

-It does have some moments, the fight scenes are very grounded and gritty, and some of the chase scenes and the kill moments can be surprising and thrilling
-It is tense and thrilling at times, especially when he is targeting somebody

The So So:

-Michael Fassbender does well in his role as the assassin, The Killer, but the neo-noir setting, and him talking to himself can get old very quickly

What I Didn’t Like:
-The theme just didn’t 100% work for me, it was too slow most of the times, and I can lose focus until some good actually happens

Overall:

It is a different type of film about an assassin. However, the whole neo-noir theme just got old very quickly. At the very least the tense scenes, action and fight scenes, and other thrilling things make it fun to watch. With all that said, it is not great, but good enough to watch it on Netflix!!!

(Sidenote: Talk to Me – This horror film actually has some story and character depth. Even though I think the premise is pretty dumb, it makes up for it for writing an interesting narrative. I also give it credit for creating scary scenes without jump scares. Overall, an interesting horror film!!!
