Paddington 2 is just like the first film, cheesy and predictable, but the charm it brings definitely brings joy for you and your family!!!

Rating: 4 Stars

What I Like:

-Paddington is a character that brings a lot of charm that not only makes the people in film smile, but the people who are watching it, his message on being nice and polite rally bodes well for people to learn, especially kids, that no matter what, its always good to be nice, even if you’re in prison
-Acting was good, most notably Hugh Grant as the villain, Phoenix Buchanan, a greedy but desperate actor who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and Brenden Gleeson as Nuckles McGinty, a feared inmate that becomes friends with Paddington
-The story was unique enough to keep you engaged

The So So:

-The comedy really has its moments that makes you laugh, but, as with any kid’s movie, the comedy can be really cheesy which makes me shake my head sometimes

What I Didn’t Like:

-It definitely was predictable to me, and had its share of cliches

Overall:

I enjoyed the first Paddington movie, and for its sequel, it was no different. The story, acting, and charm it brings really makes it worthwhile to bring the family to enjoy. Yes it has its share of cheesiness, cliches, and predictability, but for what it’s worth, it is still a feel good movie. So if you enjoyed the first film, you will enjoy this one as well!!!

Ingrid_Goes_West

(Sidenote: Ingrid Goes West- This is a very interesting movie, starring the beautiful Aubrey Plaza. Not only did Plaza show her comedic side, but she does show her dramtic side as well as a person obsessed with a social media celebrity, and will do anything to be real friends with her. Plaza does make this watchable, but I really thought the ending was ehh. I really think for a film about social media, and the dangers it brings really didn’t give a good message for us to learn. Interesting watch nonetheless!!!
