Wonder Park may have good intentions, but in the end, it is the same old typical animated kids movie!!!

What I Like:

-The animation is a marvel to see
-I did appreciate the intention of the story about creativity and imagination, and never giving up hope, I do believe that can be inspiring for children to learn and understand

The So So:

-One of the most emotional moments was when June’s mother became sick, and had to leave to receive treatment, I like the fact that they have a great mother and daughter relationship, but I wish they expound more on her sickness, they didn’t even say what is her sickness, so who knows how severe it really is

What I Didn’t Like:

-It is the typical, happily ever after, type of story, it really didn’t add anymore substance to the character of June, and the other characters, with a rushed story, you just enjoyed the ride, and really forget about in the future

Overall:

If it wasn’t for the animation and the somewhat intriguing premise, this film would be completely forgettable. The protagonist needed more substance to her character development, and the rest of the characters were really one dimensional. i felt they had something good at the beginning, but it was rushed in the end. As I said before, this will be forgettable in the future!!!
