Kingsman: The Golden Circle has everything you expected, outrageous action, funny moments, and quirky characters to make it decent for me at best, with that said, if you’re a fan of the first film, this one won’t disappoint!!!

Rating: 3.5 Stars

What I Like:

– The outrageous action , though mostly CGI, is so over the top, but that is what you expected after seeing the first film
– It had a lot of funny moments, especially with Elton John playing himself was beyond hilarious

The So So:

– The story with Harry Hart, played by Colin Firth, at first I didn’t like how he was revived from the dead without the Kingsman knowing, because I thought it was too simple and corny, however, the story later of getting Hart to come back from his amnesia and dealing with getting his coordination back really added more depth to his character

What I Didn’t:

– The film didn’t bring anything new to the table, it was practically the same as it’s predecessor, and nothing to top that church action scene from the first one
– Julianne Moore playing the villain, Poppy Adams, was way too cartoonish for my liking, though I give credit to Moore for making it the best, I thought her evil plan was so outrageous that it would make Dr. Evil from Austin Powers jealous

Overall:

To me it was practically the same as the last movie. With the over the top action, witty comedy, and strange but cool characters which we got accustomed to from before. Which for me, this franchise is decent at best. With that said, fans of the first film will not be disappointed and you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!!!
