The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is not as impactful as the first film, but it is still a lot of fun for the whole family!!!

Real Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The writing, voice acting, comedy and animation is superb in every step of the way, I practically enjoyed every minute of it, the surprise cameos makes even more fun

The So So:

-What I loved about the first film was the twist where the whole movie was an imagination of a young boy in real life with the surprise cameo of Will Ferrell playing his father, that moment made me love that film whole heartedly, for this film though the story was pretty good in mixing the LEGO world with the real world, however, the awe factor wasn’t really there anymore which is expected from me

What I Didn’t Like:

-It was a little bit predictable, the twist I did see coming, luckily the charm made up for it

Overall:

It wasn’t as impactful as its predecessor, but it was still a lot of fun. The writing really made it a truly genuine story for not only kids but even some adults to learn. So yes, please take your family to watch it. You will not regret it. I do believe that the LEGO film franchise is something very special, and I will cherish it for years to come!!!

Real Rating: 4.5 Stars

The Wife (2017 film).png

(Sidenote: The Wife- This film starring Glen Close and Jonathan Price is a well acted piece. It is a simple story of a 40 year marriage where the wife is starting to have enough of their marriage, and the reasons why as it starts to unravel secrets of their lives. It is an interesting, but way to simple story. At least the acting and execution keeps you engaged!!!
