The Intruder is the same old home invasion thriller, but I can appreciate the interesting acting of Dennis Quaid!!!

What I Like:

-What really made this film watchable to me was the acting of Dennis Quaid as the creepy home invader, how nice he was at the beginning, then how creepy he got with some very funny facial expressions, and then how down right scary he really got, it is something to check out and appreciate

The So So:

-The story is interesting at the very least, but it is the same old type of thriller that we have seen before, very predictable but still somewhat entertaining

What I Didn’t Like:

-The story is rushed in everything, from the introduction, to the character development, and even the ending was unsatisfyingly rushed, it could’ve been a better movie if it took it’s time
-Since it was very predictable, it wasn’t that thrilling unfortunately

Overall:

As I said, the story was rushed and typical which really affected the effectiveness of this thriller. Though you can appreciate the acting of Dennis Quaid and the little action it gives to not be bored. It is that type of film where it makes you want to shout at the screen!!!
