Wonder Woman is so far the best that the DC Extended Universe has to offer, a great origin story with great action that exceeds my expectations!!!

Rating: 4.5 Stars

What I Like:

-The origin story was great with very good character development for Diana in becoming Wonder Woman
-Gal Gadot acted splendidly and giving that extra depth in Diana’s character
-The action was awesome, especially that battle scene where Wonder Woman saved a small town was purely epic
-Chris Pine as Steve Trevor was pretty good providing comic relief, and decent chemistry with Gal Gadot

The So So:

-Not enough references for Batman, Superman, Flash, etc., (maybe a little bit of Batman), however, that is most likely a good thing to make Wonder Woman at its own which it desperately needs

What I Didn’t Like:

-At the beginning where Diana lives in Themyscira, and meets up with Steve Trevor sparking her to go to battle in World War I felt a little rushed

SPOILER THREAD (Don’t read if you haven’t seen it):

-The twist where Sir Patrick Morgan, played by David Thewlis, was actually the villain Ares really created that epic final scene. This was the moment where it made Wonder Woman who know today, and her goal while living on Earth. It also shows her true potential power in defeating the god of war, and really made that action very spectacular.

Overall:

Wonder Woman has exceeded my expectations, and I hope this is the start of a big turn around for the DC Extended Universe. (Even though I don’t have faith for the Justice League movie.) It was a great origin story, with awesome action, adds a lot of depth to the character, and had some comedic moments. I’m really glad this is successful for, and it gives me hope that DC can make a good movie!!!
